There are many reasons to volunteer with Love Support Unite. We want to help you shine and share your skills with communities in Malawi, East Africa to help change their lives for the better. We believe volunteering has the power to make real differences not only in Malawi but to help create a more connected, informed and empowered world.
Our ethos is to make use of the skills of each individual rather than trying to place them in a “one size fits all” project. Our projects are all aimed at giving some of Malawi’s poorest communities the resources and skills to raise themselves out of poverty. We believe that this approach will ensure that our projects continue to benefit those communities long after we are gone. Check out our recent projects for some ideas of the kind of projects we do.
Teachers or education professionals who want to help with our teach to teach programme, training teachers in Malawi on education strategy, classroom management and syllabus design.
- Permaculture experts to help with our sustainable school and miracle Moringa projects advising on optimum crop plantation for health and nutrition.
- Business mentors to help create micro loan and enterprise schemes for individuals in Malawi. These placements would be ideal for business students on a gap year.
