Volunteers News From Jade Perry in Malawi

Volunteers news is plentiful from Malawi.

WeVolunteer with LSU in Malawi receive our volunteers news almost daily as there is so much going on there and so much to be done.

Jade has spent a few months out in Malawi volunteering for Love Support Unite Africa Foundation and Tilinanu, the girls orphanage.

She has been the driving force behind the new Netball court for the girls at Tilinanu.  Rumour has it that she persuaded her family to fundraise for this in the United Kingdom so a BIG thank you to them too!

Earlier this month Jade teamed up with another local charity in Malawi called Malawi Foster Care and arranged a village outreach in Chawombwa where she handed out care packages to 40 children. She has also been involved in uniform distribution at Mkunkhu, baby massage and the delivery of toys, clothes and blankets at Msungata Village and several birthday celebrations for some of the children in care.

With funds donated Jade was also able to take some of the Tilinanu girls to the Wildlife Sanctuary. We will miss having Jade in Malawi and we know she will miss being there.

“I’ve loved every single second of it.  Thank you a million times over for allowing me to be here.”
